SMS Program Description

Miami Music Project uses SMS/MMS messaging to communicate with students, parents and guardians, employees, volunteers, program participants, and other members of the MMP community.

Messages may include program and class information, scheduling updates, reminders, attendance-related communications, event information, enrollment information, operational updates, and other communications related to Miami Music Project programs and activities. From time to time, messages may also include fundraising appeals, donation requests, or invitations to support MMP’s programs financially.

Consent to Receive Messages

By opting in to receive SMS/MMS communications from Miami Music Project, you consent to receive text messages at the mobile telephone number you provided.

Consent to receive text messages is voluntary and is not a condition of participating in Miami Music Project programs or services.

For participants under 18, consent must be provided by a parent or guardian using their own mobile number, or with the parent or guardian’s express permission if a minor’s own number is provided.

Fundraising and Donation Messages: If you opt in to receive fundraising or donation-related text messages from MMP, this is a separate consent from — and in addition to — consent to receive program, scheduling, and operational messages. You may opt in to one category without opting in to the other, and you may opt out of either category independently by following the opt-out instructions below and specifying which type of messages you wish to stop.

Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary depending on your participation in Miami Music Project programs, activities, events, or other interactions with MMP, and may include periodic fundraising or donation-related messages if you have opted in to receive them.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opting Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS/MMS messages from Miami Music Project at any time by replying STOP to any message.

After opting out, you may receive a one-time confirmation message indicating that you will no longer receive SMS messages from Miami Music Project.

Privacy

Miami Music Project respects your privacy. Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and SMS consent information will not be sold, rented, shared, or provided to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.

MMP may share your mobile number and related information with service providers (such as our SMS/text messaging platform) solely to operate and deliver this messaging program on MMP’s behalf. These service providers are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Changes to These Terms
