Levels Offered
Level I: Prelude Orchestra, 0-1 year of experience
Level II: Debut Orchestra, 1-3 years of experience
Level III: Intermezzo Orchestra, Approx. 2-5 years of experience*
Level IV: Sinfonia Orchestra, Approx. 3-6 years of experience*
Level V: Leaders Orchestra, 4+ years of experience*
* Entrance by placement audition.
Leaders Orchestra
The Leaders Orchestra is comprised of the Children’s Orchestras most advanced student musicians. This top-level ensemble performs the highest caliber repertoire at prestigious venues across Miami-Dade with access to unique opportunities such as:
- Masterclasses with professional musicians from the Cleveland Orchestra.
- Biweekly rehearsals with New World Symphony Fellows through MusicLab.
- Audition preparation for music schools and summer festivals.
- Coaching provided by esteemed clinicians and conductors such as James Judd,
Michael Tilson Thomas, and Gustavo Dudamel, and - Side-by-side performances with NWS Fellows and FIU Music students.

Summer Music Camp
- Intensive 4-week session culminating in a spectacular final performance.
- 4 hours of daily instruction available for students to continue musical studies in a fun a safe environment.
Provide a cross-community bridge connecting students from different communities.
Students participate in:
- Sectional and orchestra rehearsals.
- Daily repertoire analysis.
- Intensive social development activities.
Instilling a passion for classical music, teamwork, and a shared commitment to the joy of music making!
Eligibility Requirements
One of the following must apply:
- Current and/or past Miami Music Project students.
- New students with at least 1 full year of experience on string, wind or brass instrument. (audition required)
- New Students with NO experience must be between 5th and 7th grade.
Levels Offered
Beginners, intermediate, and advanced. Ages 6-18.

Teaching Artist Training Program
We take the commitment to provide the best musical instruction to our students very seriously.
- Provides a comprehensive set of workshops and expert coaching experiences.
- Equips faculty with practical tools needed for success in classrooms.
