Honors Orchestra

Register for auditions and you take the first step to become part of Miami's most dynamic youth ensemble. Musicians of MMPHO will benefit from:

Positions are open for talented instrumentalists, ages 13 - 21; Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Bass Trombone, Tuba, Percussion, Piano and Harp.
Auditions for the January concert will be held on December 1st & 2nd, 2011. (Registration below or call to schedule an audition time, 786-468-2251).

Sectionals & Individual Lesson Opportunities!
Members of MMPHO receive coaching by MMP Teaching Artists within group and individual settings. Focused and in-depth instruction is geared toward improvements in musicality and technique.

Audition Requirements:
  • 3-5 minute solo piece of candidate's choice
  • Sight reading
